I agree with you about enjoying the birds in the yard. Thought I'd post this comment here, since comments on journal entries don't seem to show up. A couple of days ago I posted an entry in my journal about birds, because I was all excited about the new ones I'd seen. Haven't seen goldfinches in our yard yet, but they're around.. I hear them!

stacymckenna: Well, I'm the one on the left in my user pic. But I've lived in Southern California all my life, with only brief trips to IL for visiting folk in colleges back there. The only contact I still have from IL is now in Indianapolis. Wish I could help more!
