I buy the large Aloe vera fronds/spears in the grocery stor and remove the gel. I put the gell in the blender and add whatever conditioner I used to it, it can also be used on its own. After blending just used as rinse. Keep in the fridge.

I love them they were the nicest and best "I thought" I found on the market for raised beds.  

After planning to create my garden in the back yard I have had to move the production to the front yard even after having a neighbors tree pruned that gave too much shade over the planned permanent raised bed.  The neighbor wasn't very happy(big big understatement) even though 75% of the tree was lerching over onto our property.    When my neighbor learned that I had pruned because I wanted to plant a vegetable garden she proceeded to lecture me on how a vegetable garden would do nothing for my property value, and grilled me on why it was that I wanted it in exactly that specific area.   Well, long story short I have moved my great plan all to the front yard where she'll really have to look at it.  I have not spoken to her since the early fall.  I can only imagine what she was thinking when she saw the new raise beds and fencing going up right smack in the middle of the front yard  "evil chuckle".    With all that said would love to combine a nice cottage garden into the entire scheme with lots of edibls.  Right no we have a peaceh tree, plum, blueberry and rasberries and some strawberries.
