Married, Husband, David, 2 daughters, 2 dogs, and a guinea pig. Staying at home now due to my health, but when I feel good I get BORED!!!! So I found this website and several others and decided to take on Homesteading in Suburbia! My poor husband just takes all my ideas in stride!!! =D
About Me
I am/was an RN. LOVED working but can't anymore. I get bored staying at home so I am going to try homesteading. Grew a "garden" (that's Southern for Vegetable Patch!) last summer and the drought killed everything! Trying again this year with catching rain water so when the watering ban is back, I can still water my garden! Grew up learning to cook, can, bake, and grow things so this isn't much of a stretch for me! Never had farm animals though! Never made cheese, soap, or candles, but I'm willing to learn!

I love to read, grow my own vegetables, my pets, and of course my life!!
