About Me
I am experiencing my 12th winter in Michigan. I work full-time outside the home. My husband and I have a 35x200 foot lot a couple of miles north of Detroit. We grow as much food as we can to eat during the summer and to put up for the winter. Mostly I freeze- I want to learn to can next year.
Interests
Gardening, plants, our home, making stuff, and, let's not forget Technology!

Main Crops
Herbs (Sage, Oregano, Chives, Thyme, Parsley, Cilantro, Dill, Rosemary, mint, and Basil) and Kitchen food- peppers, Tomatoes, Onions, Chard, Greens, Lettuce, carrots, beets, squash, and Green Beans! We also have a black walnut that's probably 2-300 years old. Sometimes we grow specific crops for a batch of wine we want to try, like Pumpkin, and we have a thriving Hops plant because we want to try beer next fall.

Have a great Michigan day.
