Description
Southwest growing conditions and two growing seasons, as well as being the size of a small State make this area unique and varied. We need to exploit the various eco-cultures and see what we can do with them.
This group will endevour to do these things:
1. Share information and experience relative to this area.
2. Share seeds and food to learn more about self sufficiency in our area, in practice as well as theory.
3. Begin the process of not only feeding ourselves and our family, but to start looking at ways to eco-scape our neighborhoods and communities with more "food ready" decorative plants and trees. If we must give money for taxes, we should get something for all that water we are putting on those plants!
4. Make new friends who think as we do, and who are savvy enough to do something about it now, while it is easier to learn and share with the internet and email.
